Ryan Civil Contracting were engaged to complete the stormwater works on this project. Due to the nature of the sandy conditions at the Port of Brisbane up to 60% of this drainage was completed under the water level. Ryan Civil Contracting employed the use of Well point dewatering and spearing as a means to dewatering in order to safely and productively install the stormwater drainage.
